After many years of running a successful heating installation business in London my wife, daughter and I decided to relocate to Whitstable for a new life by the coast. Starting up all over again was never going to be easy, but I believe that quality shines through and knew that if I worked in a professional and ethical manner a good reputation would precede me and the work would continue. 
I’ve been involved in the plumbing and heating game for most of my adult life and I have undergone countless training (and re-training) courses in order to keep up with the changes in technology and legislation over the years.
I have trained several apprentices and feel a great sense of pride knowing that, after a great deal of hard work and perseverance, they are now working in a profession close to my heart. Gas Safety Plus intends to continue this tradition of training and sponsorship with a recruitment program planned for later this year.
Colin and I are certainly ‘singing from the same song sheet’ when it comes our approach to work. We’re genuinely honest, reliable and show respect for people’s homes. We don’t ‘sub’ work out, we do it ourselves and only use tried, tested and carefully vetted associates on larger projects.
I believe that these are new and challenging times both for the economy and the planet. With technology and energy saving legislation moving at very fast pace, only those of us willing to take an informed and mindful approach to business will survive. I have every intention of being here, in Whitstable, running a business for many years to come.
